haha so true! It's just like clockwork after every big event, too. It makes it the worst time to post on any mma forum (right after a big event) because of all the massive ego boosts everyone gets. The only time I get negged is for saying *anything* right after a main event. (and it's always some meathead comment) LOL good post. rep.

that may be true for a lot of fans but there are also a lot of true fight fans. I for one don't like mma because of the names and the hype, I watch the fights because I like the art and science of it.

I was fully expecting Cain to get ko'ed again but was elated to see him make a fight out of it, that was one of those fights that someone new to mma would have loved. You got Junior who is taller and stronger than the shorter chubbier guy, and the short chubby looking guy put a beat down on him. That kind of thing is what mma is all about and I was elated to see it happen even though I went in cheering for JDS. There's nothing worse than a title fight where the challenger is anything but a challenge.

Heres my summarized take;

JDS won the fight first legit. It wasn't a "fluke" because knocking people out is what JDS does and it was routine for him.

Cain won the second before he pushed the pace early, riskily, and landed a big shot. From there he sapped JDS' little cardio and put an end to the fight from there on.

Cain is a great strategist and JDS is a great warrior. Not a bad word to be said about either and a 3rd down the line would be insane.

I'm probably the best at keeping threads on topic of all time.
