Who cares if you lose any number of rounds if you finish the guy after? Especially if it's the first round, ever heard of finding your rhythm?
You talk about Dana thinking he lost to Stann like that means anything, but neglect to mention that a much greater amount of people think he beat Chael. Since he "should have" been DQ'd against Rivera then maybe he "should have" taken the Sonnen decision two rounds to one.
I think a novel way to measure how good someone's run is to see the silly points people bring up to try and discredit it.

But he still completley smashed Miller after that, Rivera was fully able to continue and was pretty easily beaten, he beat Stann pretty convincingly and Dana thought he beat Sonnen.
You posted in a very biased tone. To think that Bisping isn't a legit top 10 guy is insane.
I wish they had made Bisping/Weidman and not bubble wrapped Chris. Let's just look at what they did. Weidman smashes Munoz and they both have no fights. Weidman is arranged to fight 3 months in advance, and Bisping still has no fights. They give Bisping Vitor Belfort, one of the best fighters in the entire weight class, and they give Weidman Tim Boetsch, the most overated guy in the weight class with lucky wins and now a lost to someone not even in contention. Weidman is being bubble wrapped. Bisping Vs Weidman should have happened.

To be fair they were also gonna do Bisping/Boetsch until Bisping got hurt, but I get what you're saying.
Depending on this SF situation Weidman might get Okami but I'd love it if they set up Weidman/Belfort if Rockhold gets a unification fight, something Anderson said he was interested in.

The way I'd do it is to give Bisping a title shot if he beats Belfort (because that would be a really big win in I think everyone's eyes). If he loses, I'd give Weidman the shot because at the end of the day, he's an undefeated fighter who is ranked top 3 by almost everyone. I'd be really disappointed in Okami Vs Weidman but yeah, that will almost definently happen. Weidman will have a tough go at it because Okami may just take him down and keep him there, but I'd definently say Weidman has it in the bag.
I didn't know about Boetsch/Bisping though. I knew Bisping was fighting Stann in what was it? September? And Weidman was fighting Boetsch in like December. They easily could have waited and made them fight each other in December. It almost seems as though they dont want Bisping to get a title shot by giving him Belfort. Vitor isnt that high up the rankings because at the end of the day he did lose to Jones, and usually they'd have given Belfort someone like Belcher but he now stands as a HUGE roadblock in front of Bisping.
Meh, if Mike wants to be considered the true challenger for the title, he has to beat the best, and Vitor is certainly that.

Yeah, Bisping and Boetsch were gonna fight at 149 but Bisping got hurt and Stann got hurt around the same time so Lombard who was supposed to fight Stann fought Boetsch and then of course, Bisping and Stann got booked each other, Vitor wanted to fight Weidman but Weidman was trying to get a fight with Anderson, then they started talking about GSP/Silva and by that time Vitor moved up to fight Jones and Belcher was hurt so Weidman/Boetsch and Belcher/Okami got made.

I think Bisping is #1 right now, even before fighting Vitor.
It's not even about he being, on paper, less skilled than the others, it's about his time has passed already for his shot. He is being around for while doing his job. He is far from being a fantastic fighter and this time we tend to revert to the "this fight doesn't sell because he does not stand a chance", but it's the guys turn, IMO.
He lost a controversial fight against Sonnen, who had the shot(twice) and Vitor had his shot at Anderson already and another present against Jones at 205 and if Vitor wins this one he'll be granted a third title shot since 2011. Attaboy, Vitor...

I'd have liked to see Bisping/Weidman, Belcher/Boetsch and Belfort/Okami instead.

I wouldnt say Vitor gets a title shot if he beats Bisping. I'd say he has at mimimum another 3 fights before a title shoot. If he beats Bisping, I'd say we'll see Weidman and Anderson fight and maybe Belfort/Rockhold.
SORRY FOR POTENTIAL DOUBLE POST.

Oh, Ok then. Makes more sense to me that way as well.

Maybe he does but I haven't heard anything about it anyyways. I'm sure Dana/Lorz knows Lombard and Weidman are chasing shots aswell and he'd favor them over Belfort who has lost to Anderson already, and Jon Jones in a gifted title shot in his last fight.

Vitor is not getting a shot, that's why he told Dana to start looking for other contenders,he said that Bisping isn't getting by him.
