do some research troll...why r u always hating???
Meltzer is the WWE / Ufc PPV guru, he is a source for the Helwani's etc,
6,025,000 buys breaks down like this...
Ufc 142 - 235 k (Aldo vs Mendes)
Ufc 143 - 400 k (Diaz vs Condit)
Ufc 144 - 375 k (Edgar vs Bendo)
Ufc 145 - 700 k (Jones vs Evans)
Ufc 146 - 560 k (JDS vs Mir)
Ufc 147 - 140 k (Silva vs Franklin)
Ufc 148 - 925 k (Silva vs Sonnen 2)
Ufc 149 - 235 k (Faber vs Barao)
Ufc 150 - 190 k (Bendo vs Edgar 2)
Ufc 151 - Cancelled
Ufc 152 - 450 k (Jones vs Belfort)
Ufc 153 - 410 k (Silva vs Bonnar)
Ufc 154 - 700 k (GSP vs Condit)
Ufc 155 - Estimate is 705 k (the number that is missing)
Bendo is boring and doesn't draw the PPV, the lighter weights don't help
145, 146, 148, and 154 saved the year...

Really hope JDS/Cain 2 and Aldo/Edgar does a big number, if 157 can do some good numbers the UFC will have a nice little hot streak going for them since GSP/Diaz, Jones/Sonnen, Memorial Day weekend, and a Brazil card I think Anderson is gonna headline will all be after it.
Then they have the 4th of July card, in a perfect world we get Cain/Overeem on Memorial Day weekend followed by Anderson vs. Weidman/Bisping/Rockhold then GSP vs. Marquardt on July 4th weekend.

Christmas already happened..u have to wait until next year to submit your wish list!
I think you are right about the MW title being defending in June at the Brazil PPV, which will have Big Nog vs Werdum on it as well. Bisping if he wins, Weidman should Bisping lose, Rockhold needs a tune-up or two, could face Costa sometime in the spring.
The HW will happen by July, the Memorial day weekend (May 25) may be cutting it close for a HW bout (3.5 months) is a quick turn around in a division with shoulder, back, knee, and broken hand injuries.
LW Title: Bendo vs Pettis (If he wins) or Melendez (If Pettis loses) is on deck as well,
Don't forget a Fox card on April 20
As for GSP? he won't fight Marquardt in 2013, Marquadt may or may not have 1 title defense after jan 12, is a training partner of GSP's (close) and July is too quick for GSP with September being the Toronto card...and Dana promising to make up to the people of Calgary, anything is possible.

I think Ben will fight again on FOX, they might do him vs. Melendez in May since that's a UFC vs. SF fight with the Flyweight title as the co-main.

Dana HIMSELF said it several time that the PPV for 2012 was far below 2011 numbers and that this year was one of the toughest for the ufc.
And that thanks to the fox deal the year was not that bad and that the fox guys are great people blah blah blah....
So to say that 2012 did more PPV than 2011 by some dude's "estimations" when everything points to the contrary and that Dana himself admits it( which company executive would want to lower down it's own numbers?) proves that Meltzer is full of shit and that people should be retarded for believing him.

151 would have helped this years numbers.
If Jones/Belfort did 450, I'm sure Hendo/Jones would have done at least 600. Sonnen/Jones would have done the same.

Agreed. For every one justin.tv that gets sued, 10 more pop up.

no surprise to me here at all.
I truly believe the UFC is past it's prime, in terms of PPV buys. We have more PPVs than we ever used to, and people aren't going to spend $60 every 3 weeks. In-between that, we have televised events every 2-3 weeks as well.
High quality streams are fairly easy to find, and 1080p torrents are available within hours of the event finishing. Many people will either watch a stream, or download a HQ torrent the next morning, or go out to a bar and spend $20-$30 instead of $60 at home.
The big superbowl, summer and year end events will always sell well as the UFC stacks those cards, but in-between I would expect to see a continual decline in PPV buys. The current model is definitely sustainable for many years to come, but I don't think we see as many PPV buys.
