I see Cain getting on top of Overeem multiple times and eventually overwhelming him for a stoppage, somewhere in the 3rd probably.

I have really been thinking about this one a while, I think I will wait until after the bigfoot fight before I commit to who and how, I hope we don't end up with another Reem vs. Werdum, not to interested in that again.
If I had to pick today it would be Overeem by ko, sometime before the third rd..

Cain would probably out-pace him and win in the second by TKO.
Cain/Werdum is the fight I want.

I see Cain employing the same strategy as the JDS fight HOWEVER, there are 2 weapons that Overeem possesses that could give Cain trouble. One of them as mentioned before are the knees, the other one which I think people are forgetting about is Overeem's NASTY guillotine.
If Cain spams takedowns he might very well get caught in a guillotine or get ko'd by a knee, though after the 2nd round, I think Overeem would be too gassed to pull off anything.

And that may be the factor in this fight. Cain only had to nullify JDS's boxing, with Overeem his facing a wide arsenal of knees and kicks. Either Overeem finishes this or he'll get finished. All up to him imo.

I'd put a lot money down that Reem will gas much faster then that, he has a long history of gassing and doing so against opponents nowhere as near as relentless as Cain is.

overeem is overrated.. cain is better in every area besides pure punching power but that doesn't matter because overeem doesn't have that much of a chin.. besides the flash KO possibility overeem really has nothing for cain even in the standup..

And the STANDING GUILLOTINE, Reem has finished like 7 fights that way, sure against lesser caliber opponents, but Cain can't just throw his head into Overeems body without risking getting caught by something.

Overeem is going to be intimidated like Junior was he will stalk Cain walk him down pick his shots like he always does and finish Cain just like he did to Brock. If Cain is shooting on Overeem from across the street like he did to JDS he will eat a massive knee.

everybody talks about Cain super cardio he had worse cardio then JDS and he didn't even get hit the whole fight. Junior absorbed more damage was on the bottom and looked just as good if not fresher than Cain (cardio wise he face was a mess) in the last round.
