you don't wanna **** with that reemitine, he has pretty decent grappling chops too winning some european bjj championships I remember. I think reem can do it and do it fast.

He hasn't caught anyone in a front choke since he bulked up, Cain will demolish him, Rauno if you are confident in Reem we should have a sig bet.

not true he got james thompson in a reemitine when he bulked up, he just hasn't needed it because he has been knocking people out. Brock was too scared to commit to a take down and brock took down cain lets not forget.

Yeah he got Thompson and Sylvester but wasn't he like 245 then? Still getting bigger, and those guys are complete cans.. The last really good grappler he's subbed was Vitor and that was years ago when he had Jon Jones arms.

@Rauno, I love your competetive spirit! I will also love occupying your signature ask SM33 what it feels like to bet against El Bresko and Cain!

its even worse for his opponents with bigger arms, also im sure golden glory doesnt have better grappling instructors than blackzillians which he changed to. Reem via round 1 liver kick and ground and pound

On the same note, in his last fight, Overeem only had to worry about Lesnars TDs, the fight before he only had to worry about Werdums Jitz, his last 2 fights before then, Duffee and Rogers, he didn't have to worry about shit.

Cain is a whole different fighter to anyone he has previously fought. Overeems got cardio, TDs, GnP, striking, heart, level changes and wrestling all to worry about. i may be biased a little towards Cain, my fave HW, but I see Velasquez winning this. Maybe TKO but more likely a decision. Sergie Karitonov was the last dude to KO Overeem, 2007 I think. So yeah, I'd go for Unaminous decision for Cain.

Based on Cain's last performance against JDS - a fighter with a very similar style to Overeem's - I will give this one to Cain. He will push forward constantly, put the pressure on Reem, take him down, tire him out and either win a lopsided decision or finish him by the 3rd or 4th.

I realize that Overeem has the ability to end a fight with one shot and Cain has fallen victim to this before (first JDS fight), but I just don't see it happening again.

I'd say either

Overeem via KO in round 1 or first half of round 2 by stuffing Cain's first three TD attempts with pure strength and getting the timing to punish the next few TD attempts and either soften Cain up with knees to then KO him with a big right hook or KOing him right away from the clinch with a big knee.

or

Cain via TKO in round 3 or 4 by avoiding the big knees and punches in the first two rounds and then capitalising on a completely gassed Overeem.
