Money Mayweather did. He put 200K down on Cain.

So he says. He probably put the same amount on JDS and wonders why he ended up even.

Um a lot of those weren't upsets at all, and most of them were less than 2:1 dogs.
In no particular order the biggest upsets (by betting line) were these:
Elkins/Brandao
Varner/Barboza
KZ/Poirier
Boetsch/Okami
Yagin/Hominick
Boetsch/Lombard
Brimage/Hettes
Barboza and Okami were 6:1, so those were the biggest in reality. Some of these don't seem like big upsets in retrospect, but we have to give credit where credit is due.

Can't say I agree, if Cain was a nobody HW then yes. Truth is he was the #2 HW in the world going into the fight (and not off from #1 by much). That does'nt qualify as an upset in my books, far from it.

Not a huge year for big upsets. A lot of those weren't even upsets, or minimal at best.
It was because Barboza was totally overrated and Varner was written off, but that was a huge upset on the books.
Franklin/Le should have at least made the top 10.
Nate Diaz vs. Cerrone was a decent number on the books. And a lot of people wrote Nate off with little chance. That should have at least been mentioned somewhere.

Yeah, that would be my number one. I think Franklin wins that fight 9 times out of 10.

My number one upset of the year would of been when that video came out of Cain sucking off all those dudes. Shocker.
