Which is why he will smash Mir should they fight.

In my opinion, Barnett submission game is right up there with Mir although Barnett uses submission wrestling while Mir uses BJJ. But if Barnett couldn't get Cormier down and submit him, I dont see how Mir could (which is the only way Mir can win).

Exactly, while Mir isn't what he used to be he's still a very good rounded fighter and he will help draw numbers to the card while exposing DC to a bigger audience during his introduction to the UFC.

I've got Cormier finishing Mir faster then JDS did if this fight happens.

Mirs bin is far ahead of Barnett who relies heavily on being on top. Mir is ok being under Cormier which is a huge difference from josh who wants to be on top. Also Mir is a superior striker both in technique and power IMO

Nice so once Barnett has his way with Nandor and Cormier has his way with Mir, maybe I can finally see one of my dream fights; Mir/Barnett.

I don't see how Mir has better stand up than Cormier?

The same Mir that was totally lit up by Nog? Who looked like a goof vs. JDS?

Mir's striking lives off beating a staph infected slow as dust Nog. And knocking down the ever overrated Kongo.

I think Cormier would eat him alive standing. His stand up gets way better every fight. Made Bigfoot and Barnett look like rookies. Mir is no better standing than either of them in my opinion.
