That is Michael Page  You should see his fights. He pulls off tricks like that in every single fight.

Stephen Thompson. What a superb fighter. I *so* want him to adapt to MMA well. We need to see more of his striking. It's on a totally different planet to most UFC guys. He pulled that kick out so naturally and perfectly... nonchalant even.
Having said that, I'm not confident he can ever do that well in MMA. Here's hoping.
Page reminds me of early Naseem Hamed, with all that pissing around. Although Hamed was an evil fighter in his early days.

I didn't even recognise Huerta at first and didn't realise it was him getting KO'd. That sucked.
Gotta agree Sooj, that kick was incredible.

I've been frothing at the mouth at a possible future matchup between Stephen Thompson and Michael Page. Both were light contact kickboxing world champions.

In that league its not a cheap ass kick tho. Before the kick the guy throwing it had to get the refs okay to even throw it. Guess you have not seen a lot of Pride FC, huh?
In regards to Page I have said it before all that show boating will cost him against a decent wrestler. |
