World MMA Awards debuts Jan. 20 on FOX Sports Net

FOX Sports Net will air the 2012 World MMA Awards ceremony on Jan. 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, officials recently announced.

Additionally, FUEL TV will air replays at a variety of times.

The actual 2012 World MMA Awards ceremony takes place this Friday at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Fighters Only coordinates the annual awards, in which fans vote for winners in 21 different categories. The awards recognize achievements from Sept. 1, 2011, to Sept. 30, 2012.

I wonder if Dana White gets MMAs leading man of the year award. Won it every year so far.

I saw this elsewhere and don't understand. The Fighter's Only World MMA Awards are happening tomorrow, why are they waiting til the 20th to air it? Surely the media will leak it before it's shown to the public.
