hahahaha, 2nd round Struve! I love it

it is a coincidence though, and indeed if he can get out of the first round without getting KO'd against hunt (or subbing him) then he'll probably win in the 2nd again.

EDIT: you forgot pre-illness Brock

Funny as heck. This is the type of fun fight you would have against your friends, but not to make money on. It's exactly 50/50. Hunt lands it's over. Struve gets em to the ground it's equally over.

So yah if Struve somehow makes it to round two that means he weathered the storm and could possibily pull a submission on a tired Hunt. After looking at his past fights, realized that he always takes heavy punishment, then you think can he really take that kind of punishment against a K-1 champ. Next thing you're thinking what if he gets clocked and as Hunt goes to finish, Struve somehow regains composure and pulls off a sweep. One thing is for sure Struve is the king of comebacks. Silva knew this would be a fan friendly fight for sure.

Massive fan of both Hunt and Struve. Would like to see Struve win though just because he's got more of a chance of making it big in the UFC. Needs to sort out his striking a bit though. Bloody Thai plum man! With those lanky ass legs he could be brutal. He could use the knees to soften up (or KO) opponents then sweep the f*ckers to the ground before working for a sub.

Stat of the Day. Mark Hunt is 0-5 against Dutch fighters in MMA or K1. Struve will continue the streak.

Thread is ironic. When you really disagree with something on the internet, take a moment to consider the possibility that it isn't to be taken at face value.

If Schilt taught Struve his front kick to the body, he'd be very hard to beat imo.

There's been so many occasions in his fights where I've been screaming at the TV for him to throw the front kick, but I don't think he ever has.

And yes, Hunt KOs him brutally. Ironically enough Schilt stopped Hunt with a body kick (although that was a spinning back kick)...
