I used to dislike BJ Penn. I wouldn't say hate, but I definitely rooted for every fighter he was going up against.

Somewhere along the way he made me a fan.

Nick Diaz is probably the fighter I was most surprised to have grown to like. Over time I have grown to respect his cardio and boxing, although perhaps not his head movement. I still can't understand him in interviews but overall I just love watching him fight.

Starting to like Rory Macdonald a lot more as I get to see him fight and evolve. I also really like his no nonsense interview style.

I used to really love Rampage and especially loved watching him fight but the dude has done nothing but complain and show up poorly then make excuses. Did I mention he has been whiney as hell lately? Like really, really, whiny?

Rampage used to be my second favourite fighter oat behind wandy, but his persistent bitching and diva tantrums, along with his refusal to evolve as a fighter have made me lose all respect for him

BJ Penn, Dan Hardy and Rashad Evans are fighters I used to loathe but now find myself rooting for.

I used to be a huge Rampage Jackson fan. I've met him and he's really nice and hilarious and always brought it in the cage. But lately I've been disappointed with his attitude regarding the sport. I wouldn't say I hate him or even dislike him, but his fight with Glover will be the first in a while that I've rooted against him.
I used to like Dominick Cruz until I found out what a jerk he is.

I can't really say that I 'hate' any fighter, but I've come to dislike Johny Hendricks these last few months. As for who has grown on me, definitely Michael Bisping. I couldn't stand him for quite a while, but he's won me over in the last year or so.

Rampage is another fighter I've grown to dislike. Too much drama and whining.

I used to really love GSP and Bj Penn now whenever they fight I find myself more upset than entertained.

And Donald Cerrone in the WEC I used to hate for some reason but his performances since has made me a fan.

...The hate list. I haven't thought of one. I just dislike fighters with negative or know it all attitudes and there's only a handful of them really. Even though I really dislike Bisping's cocky piehole, I respect him as an awesome fighter...and he is no doubt. Sonnen is a true salesman for the UFC but is a true MMA warrior. Recently, the heart shown by JDS when Cain thrashed him was impressive. I haven't grown to hate any fighter but I've grown to love most all of them...

I was a big Ben Rothwell fan when he was in the IFL and when he matched up with Nelson I sided with Rothwell. Since that fight I've grown to respect the hell out of Nelson. He's really grown as a fighter over the last few years and I love the way he stands up to Dana while other fighters act like Dana is their favorite uncle or something.

Mike Pyle is another guy who earned my respect over time. I used to think he was a total dickhead but he's really come into his own in the last couple of years. A very skilled fighter. He reminds me of a white Diaz bro with his attitude in the cage.

I hated Chuck Liddel during his reign because I was a huge PRIDE/Wand fan, and it wasn't until Liddel lost all those fights that I revisited his earlier fights and recognized he is without a doubt the greatest LHW fighter of all time. Just a beast. And he went out on his shield.

There are no fighters I ever liked that I now dislike. I definitely have a love/hate thing with Dana because sometimes he makes me laugh, I see a lot of my (younger) self in him, but then he turns around and says or does things that just make me cringe.

I really pick favorites based on fighting style over personality.

Hands down it's Rampage - an absolute monster in Pride and now all he's good for is running his mouth at his Employer...
