One thing people don't get about the Anderson/Maia fight is how ridiculous intense the rivalry between teams in Brazil can be. Anderson never been a bully. Even though he likes to make a show, he is not known for bullying opponents. That fight was an off the chart display by the Champion that went totally out of proportion because the event was highly anticipated in Abu Dhabi, before so many authorities and Royal family members. So, basically, a domestic Brazilian dispute between two teams made the whole event a fiasco, embarrassing Dana and the UFC. Anderson did not realize what he had done until the heat started to increase under his arse following that day.

I absolutely abhorred Chael leading up to the first Anderson fight, and for a while afterward... But leading up to the second fight, and listening to some of the interviews, it really became apparent that he was just trying to sell the fight, and he also laid off the racism a bit. I can't say I really like him, his fighting style is just kinda boring, but I don't dislike him anymore.

I disliked Diego Sanchez at one point. But man he's really changed his image around from an arrogant nut case to a humble nut case.

I use to like the LHW title holder. That was until he started doing interviews. Imagine if he was a mute. He'd actually probably have even more fans.

Chael to a degree. It's lukewarm at best. ONLY because he got put in his place. If he had somehow won I would probably be bitter forever...FOREVER.

I can't stand this guy and never could. He's probably the second worst sportsman to ever step foot in the octagon (second only to Gilbert Yvel). He punched Almeida after the fight was over, he got caught using steroids and probably needs TRT now because he's been juicing for a decade before he got caught.
