Swanson recently told MMAjunkie.com he expected the fight to be a No. 1 contender's bout. Even with the loss of Siver, the bout should still have some significant meaning in the division. Together, Swanson and Poirier have won 10 of their past 12 fights. Additionally, each has posted stoppages in his past three wins.

Damn... I was really looking forward to that striking battle. Now I think it's going to come down to if Poirier can get Cub down before he gets clipped.

When is Korean Zombie fighting?

This'll be Poirier's 2nd or 3rd fight since he fought Korean Zombie, its been almost a year since Korean Zombie last fought & he still doesn't seem to have a fight lined up.

If Edgar hadn't come along I think he would be fighting Aldo at UFC 156. Now - I don't know... Maybe wait for the winner or fight someone else, but who would that be?

I miss him though
