No he didn't. Other than those two big kicks Vitor landed Bisping was controlling the pace.

Come on... we both know Vitor was sizing Bisping up throughout the entire first round.

Bisping can't rely on 'controlling the pace' against one shot fighters like Henderson and Vitor, because inevitably something will land. I'm not sure it would have helped, but he should have done more to confuse Vitor with shoots and possibly takedowns. All he did that first round was give Vitor an opportunity to figure out his movement. Bisping is capable of being a fairly complete fighter... no longer does he simply have to rely on sticking and moving.
