Cote and Leites were years back, there are far better options than Cung Le at this point.

And I suppose Sonnen is the best option at 205?

Cung Le vs AS would end in Le's funeral.

I'll admit that I probably underestimate Le often, but really almost anyone against AS is going to lead to their funeral.

NoMercy, those Thai Ice Teas are awesome, I had a mixed berry and a apple one today.

Hellboy, when did I ever say that I condoned Chael's title shot?

Could you elaborate on how Cote and Leites being good options for Anderson, even at the time of the booking, considering their 1 dimensional excellence?

Following: Cain , JDS, Werdum, Shogun, Machida, Weidman, Pettis, Aldo, Melendez

Yah man it's super refreshing...I've introduced that to so many people along with Vegemite...hahaha. Having been to Australia myself I had the honour of trying fermented yeast and passing it on...hahaha!

Yo...juss did a reply to the Dotcom thread. Got my brain movin...or it could be the caffeine from my tea.

Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

The MW division had nobody back then, Cote was on a 4 fight win streak with 3 in the UFC, Leites was on a 5 fight win streak in the UFC.

I don't see how this is so hard to grasp. Does nobody remember how shallow MW was back in the day?

No Mercy, Vegemite is the best! Promite is really good too, you should give it a try.

Chael is getting a title shot for more PPV buys.

Giving Le a title shot to break into a new market is a similar thing.

You mentioned Leites and Cote as viable options, now you say it was because there was nobody else to fight except middleweights on winning streaks. Who is there now to fight except Weidman? Lombard arguably lost his first fight.

I agree Cung Le did not deserve to be #1 contender, so how about make it a non-title fight to appeal to the Chinese fans and fans worldwide that want to see Bruce Lee-like MMA?
