How about Anderson Silva vs. Cung Le in China?

I believe this is an idea that would be great

Anderson Silva embodies Bruce Lee (watch the documentary "Like Water"). He is the real "Bruce Leeroy" of MMA.

Even though Cung Le is not the number 1 contender, he did knockout the former champion Rich Franklin in his last visit to China

I believe this would be an exciting striking match.
I also think Anderson has the edge both striking and grappling. He stated he's interested in superfights rather then just defending his title.

I think this is the most appropriate match for China.
For anybody interested, please tweet Dana White.

First you're a bastard for creating a misleading title.

Second, I also agree it would be interesting. Cung is crafty enough to pull some kind of strange submission technique; hail mary if you will. It would be a fun match up though.

Right now it's Lombard then Weidman who pose the new threats in that division. Luke and Jacare are write offs. Gegard would be interesting if he decided to head back down.

**** this.

Silva/Weidman at MSG, make that shit happen brehs.

Updated thread title to better reflect the subject.

Um how about no. Cung Le is a bum in comparison and wouldn't even be able to touch Anderson standing. nice troll dude.

You are smart, you don't post threads so often that people realise you are a troll, but I watch these boards very closely and your ridiculous posting has stuck out to me many times.

NoMercy, Cung Le could only ever dream of subbing Anderson.

Yeah that would be great. Yeah awesome. Yeah.

This fight is much more desirable and likely to boot. Maybe not at MSG but it would be a good fight, and makes sense at MW right now.

But tonight we'll have a contender following Vitor vs. Bisping and we'll have to deal with that. I can live with either three fights.

Silva vs. Cung Le though - China or not, might produce a highlight reel KO but not much else. UFC won't gain much popularity in China by having they "hometown" boy getting destroyed in front of them and neither Cung Le or Anderson gains anything in the process.

It makes as much sense as Andy vs. Bonnar did - and that didn't make ANY sense :p

Admins: Good lookin' out on editing the thread.

What up Bresko...how's training.

We shall find out tonight if The Count can do it. I have a weird feeling he might pull something out of his hat even though I bet big on Vitor already. If Vitor's conditioning is up to par and his MIND is straight for all three rounds how does he not win. He simply needs to stalk and strike keeping the pressure. I know this sounds super cliched, but I think the 19 year old Vitor Belfort could have given the LHW title holder a bit more problems. Cuz you know he would have been fearless and just went out guns blazing. Losses do really effect a fighter sadly. The only fighters to fight the same way even after getting KOed was Chuck, Wandy, and Fedor. Even Mirko slowed down a bit, GSP...you know the story, etc.

One of the few fights where I don't mind losing a bet being wrong. Bisping vs Anderson...oh how nice would that be.
