Depends on the result of the fight.

If Glover smashes him, he's done if he wins, he'll re-sign.

Okay fair enough. I can thank Dana for supplying my undying need for violence and brutal knock outs which I love. But the truth is it really is part of the increase in a blood thirsty society that we live in that craves instant gratification. Hey I love it but deep down I know its not the best thing for us. Okay so besides that I can not think of anything I would want to thank Dana for. So yeah THANKS TO DANA FOR THE UFC and supporting my blood lust. Its a double edged sword. I miss The Page of old and I know he is past his prime but for anyone to say he is washed up and worthless well I say years of knocking people out and slamming them was enough for me to still like the guy.

Rampage was broken long, long before he ever fought Jones. He's been finished mentally for years now, his head hasn't been fully in the game for a long time.

I do. The level of competition in the UFC is going to start passing him by as he ages. He can do the whole pro wrestling thing while fighitng and he can also face a severly lowered level of competition in Bellators LHW division (which is a joke at the moment). I dont think he neccessarily sees greener pastures, I just think he knows he is losing it and needs to go somewhere he can consistently win.

I'll be honest, I don't see why Rampage should even be considered for the UFC HOF. He's 6 - 4 in the UFC and hasn't finished a fight since Silva in 08. Not taking anything away from him, but I just don't see that HOF caliber.

Well good thing the UFC HoF isn't based off of accomplishments in the cage. Otherwise you'd be right.

His first victory over Chuck Liddell helped fan the flames of the Pride vs. UFC war.

The UFC bought the World Fighting Alliance so they can acquire Rampages contract and set up a rematch between him and Chuck Liddell.

His second victory over Chuck made him a champion.

After that he defeated Dan Henderson in his first title defense unifying both the Pride and UFC titles.

He became head coach of the Ultimate fighter, won two Knock out of the nights, three fight of the nights, and one fight of the year.

How is that not HOF material?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I'll give the HOF nod based on what is said here, but will agree with most that it is time to go. Guy just doesn't hav the drive and has not for a while. I'd gladly watch him fight again, but on free card. No sale anymore the drive is all gone.

Rampage will go where the money goes. This fight is eerily similar to Machida/Ortiz.

- Public disputes with the UFC, not to the same extent as Tito and Dana, since they were actually gonna box.
- They throw Rampage in there with Glover, they threw Tito in there with Machida when he was on the rise and no one had the first clue how to fight Machida.
- Tito got completely clowned, and they expect Glover to lay an ass whipping on Rampage and devalue him big time in case he actually does leave and goes to Bellator.

Tito eventually came back and I'm sure Rampage would come back if the money was right and he got his Reebok sponsorship. Tito was making big money even after Machida embarrassed him so Rampage might be able to make big money when he comes back too but in order for that to happen, he needs to win or look damn good in a loss.

If this looks like Glover's first two UFC fights, he's probably done. Rampage isn't a guy that I would trust to be smart with his money either so he needs the UFC more than they need him,
