Haha...never quite liked Sugar. Only rooted for em against the LHW title holder...one time. What's funny is, I don't recall Maynard as a Tuf alumni. At this stage of the game it'll be pretty damn hard for a TUF winner to win a title fresh from the show.
I've always wondered...how would Bisping fare against Lee Murray.

Lee Murray would put him in the camel clutch, fukc him in the arse and make him humble.
That's how they roll in Morroccan prisons.

Awful idea. Lytle could fight the way he did because he had an iron jaw, good boxing and great jiu jitsu. Bisping has none of these traits. But what he does have is good stamina and slick footwork. The only way he can fight is by staying on the outside and landing that jab, which never makes for a good fight. He doesn't have a choice though. He's been rocked or KO'd in 7 of his last 10 fights. If he goes out there and tries to put on a FOTN, he'll get KO'd everytime.

This is what I think as well. I don't see this exceptional striking everyone talks about from Bisping. I see good cardio, good footwork and a nice 1-2 but that's it. His chin definitely does not support a Lytle gameplan.

1. Rashad Evans
2. Forest Griffin
3. Michael Bisping
4. Gray Maynard/Nate Dias
5. Matt Serra
6. Joe Lauzon/Diego Sanchez
7. Joe Stevenson
8. Chris Leben
The fight - Great fight, really enjoyed it. Bisping was humble and not at all the 'heel' he knows he can play. If in a few weeks if he comes out with an injury or something then he deserves his fate/history to be written about him. Personally think whether he goes for the 'Lytle' like legacy or he tries for one more run people will tune in to watch him fight. Don't think he can make another run, as always the sport is evolving and he is aging ... and I'm older than him! It's how things go.

Bisping's so ******* overrated, he's always been a middle of the pack fighter and always will be.

Maynard has to be above Bisping, his only blemishes are Frankie who is top 10 p4p. Bisping has lost to an old Wanderlei, Vitor, Chael, Hendo and Rashad.
They are all good fighters but he's lost everytime he's faced somebody really good.

I don't think Bisping will ever be the champ but I don't want to see him retire. He would make an excellent gatekeeper.
