If Nate had Tibau level TDD then i'd agree with you but he's not that difficult to take to the mat.

..how the **** does a serious MMA fan underrate Tibau. He's completely blatant in his skill level at this point, he's been in the UFC for damn near 5 years.
No is underrating Tibau. News flash, Nate just fought for a title.
Khabib not only lost to Tibau, he was completely outclassed in every area. Tibau for all of his merit is nothing more than a mid level fighter.

Khabib's no slouch, but he's also not a top ten LW. Nate just fought for the title, I'm sure he'd beat Khabib, though it would probably be closer than most people on this thread are saying.

You can argue that Khabib beat Tibau (I don't think he did), but if you watch that fight it's pretty clear that Tibau is way better and he probably thought he was winning by stuffing the takedowns.

Tibau outclassed the guy.
I don't think he won anything worse than 30-28 on any half decent MMA mind's scorecard.
I peersonally scored it 30-28.

this thread needs bookmarking and bringing up in the future
all i seen from him in victory, were a LOT of wild swinging haymakers which 90% missed emabarrasingly AND he nearly done 360 degree turns with them, then one that landed, followed by some brutal GnP
Give the man another solid test & watch how he does against someone like barboza before we start saying he can beat Nate Diaz
I would take barboza to win that fight all day

Can't he just fight somebody that isn't in my top 10 favourites? Nate, Khabib and Edson are all there. There are plenty of good fights for him, I'd be happy with Jim Miller, TJ Grant after he subs Wiman, Pat Healy, Masvidal, Lauzon, even Yves Edwards after he beats the dude he's matched up against, the winner of Gomi V Sanchez..
There's matchups galore, I really hope he stays right away from Barboza and Nate.

Khabib at this point isn't very good.
All he has going for him is extreme aggression, good cardio, hand speed and some pop.
He's below average to average in his technique in almost every area.
He could get better though.
