I wanted to see him against Jones. It doesn't matter if they will put it together or not.
I have zero interest on watching Anderson vs Rashad after what Lyoto did to him.

Weidman is game, but even if he wins, would be like 5-0 lay and pray, so I wanted to see someone really able to dethrone the king in a war, out striking or submitting him. I see only Jones to provide that level of entertainment today. Anyone else is filling up the agenda blanks.

Weidman is very capable of submitting Anderson. He translated his wrestling to BJJ better then just about anyone.

Either KO'd or toyed with, yes. Aside from that one Sonnen fight, there is no reason to believe otherwise. And this is coupled with the fact that at least every other opponent of his is testing positive for something. I don't have to see it, but I love watching Silva fight even though I'm not a fan. He is just that good.

This is all a moot point anyway since I highly doubt the UFC will give a no-namer a title shot that will have been on a one-year hiatus. Maybe they would if they were beyond desperate but I don't even think Silva would want to bother. The UFC probably had the mentality of "We'll do Silva-Bisping if Bisping wins, and if Bisping loses then we will figure it out".

This is kind of an obvious wide statement. Sure anything can happen. I just don't feel like putting my money on that possibility, so this fight does not have the appeal, IMO.

I'm a Weidman fan as well but saying he can sub Anderson?

Sure he might be able to fend off submission attempts from Anderson for 5 rounds but actually submitting Anderson is kind of a slim possibility don't you think?

Vitor: Absolutely not, not deserving a rematch just yet.
GSP: This fight never made sense anyways and GSP has no interest in testing himself outside of his own weight class.
Rockhold: Let him at least get a win in the octagon before he's considered.

I picked Jones because well thats what I would prefer, but as stated earlier that fight will most likely never happen. Weidman is the one that will happen.
