I thought I read somewhere that they don't train together anymore. Perhaps I was misinformed.

I have done some research and it appears that Anderson and Rodrigo left X-Gym a few years ago because of some disputes, this would explain why Lyoto accompanied Roger Gracie at SF and not Jacare aswell.
They started Silva and Nogeuira MMA academy in Florida when they left.
I'm not 100% sure about whether Jacare and Anderson are still training together but I do remember that Jacare was helping Andy prepare for his 2nd fight with Chael.

Jones is my dream matchup for Silva. Dana hinted at a big fight for Sept(?) for the anniversary of the UFC and hoped it would be in New York, maybe this is the fight he is planning.
I like the idea of Weidman vs Vitor. I personally would enjoy Vitor vs Silva more than Silva vs Weidman, I just don't know if Weidman can do what Chael did, he might end up like Okami. Vitor is more exciting a test just cos of his power. Even Hector would excite me more than Weidman.

GSP, Bones or Rockhold. GSP or Bones because that'd sure up the whole P4P #1 argument, even though Silva is clearly the best in the world. Rockhold would make sense but only because it'd be a unification bout. LOL at everybody saying Weidmann is the number 1 contender. Yeah, he's a definite threat, but he's beat 1 top 10, arguable to 5, MW. A former contender who was coming off an injury. 1 win over a semi-big name does not automatically make a barely top 10 fighter number 1. It's stupid to think that just because he talked shit, he's deserving.

in order of what I'd like: Jones, Rashad, Vitor, Weidman, Lombard
Reality might be the same guys in reverse.

No I don't think it's slim. Anderson isn't some BJJ monster and Weidman has done very well in grappling competitions. He is more likely to submit Anderson then the other way around.

Weidman is a better all around fighter than Palhares.

I really can't tell if you are attempting to help my point or hurt it? Palhares has 10 submissions in 19 fights. I think I counted 5 submissions in the UFC. I'd say he has done pretty well with his submissions in MMA.

Hmm, thats debatable dude. I'm not saying Silva is a BJJ monster either. Buuuuut, he's not been submitted since 2004. Since then he's fought against some very able BBJ guys including a BJJ monster Damian Maia. Thales Leites isn't too shabby at BJJ either. He may not have the best offensive BJJ, but he is defensive work is pretty damn good. OK, Weidman competed at the ADCCs but that too doesn;t make him a BJJ monster. Offensively or defensively. What I will say for Weidman is that he has picked up BJJ pretty quickly and combined with his wrestling he could cause a problem or 2 for Anderson. I just really can't see a submission on the cards for Weidman.
In my opinion there is nobody currently at LHW, MW, or WW that could dethrone the respective champion.
