The first round and then Hendricks will hold him down for two rounds when Ellenberger gasses and fades.

I'll laugh so hard if Jakes wins. Hendricks is a solid fighter, but as a human being, he's a bloody crybaby.

Ellenberger has a very real chance of winning this fight. He is not to be overlooked.

I am going to be very interested to see the line that comes out for this fight. I'm thinking there could be significant value on Ellenburger. Both guys hit like a truck, so this one's either going to be over quickly, or it's going the distance. If it goes the distance, it's likely going to be a boring fight. I can see both guys hesitant to engage, and their wrestling more or less canceling each other out. The one question I have with Hendricks, is what kind of chin does he have? I guess we'll find out!

The UFC is a business. Which fight is going to sell more for the UFC? GSP-Diaz or GSP-Hendricks? Which fight do you think the UFC prefers? Nuff said.

Hendricks is -190
Ellenberger is +165

I think it is pretty accurate. Similar skill sets. Hendricks probably has more power, better wrestling, better cardio.

"You know wha-i'm saying"

I want to edit several of his interviews and only cut out parts of him saying that. It's shocking how often he says it.

1. BJ "The Prodigy" Penn
2. Dan "Hollywood" Henderson
3. George "Rush" St Pierre

See, I think that's pretty good value. You're probably right though, Hendricks has the edge in all of those categories. Although I'd argue Ellenburger's overall standup game is better. Arguing who's got more power I think is moot, because if either of these guys touches you on the chin, you're probably going to sleep.

I'm probably a little less high on Ellenberger than a lot of people here. I think he is a good fighter, but a little overrated. His best win may be Mike Pyle. He fought Shields who looked like crap at 170 and right after his father had died. He beat Sanchez who ran back to 155...and he gassed late. Sanchez by no means is a good striker. Mike Pyle is very solid in my eyes and that was maybe his best win. While Hendricks has faced guys like Kos and Fitch. And beat Kampmann.

Ellenberger may have better versatility in his strikes. But Hendrick's left hand finds its mark often.

Line seems dead on to me. I wouldn't be shocked if Ellenberger won. But Ellenberger has been stopped due to strikes...Hendricks never has. Hendricks is better in most all areas, so I think him being an averaged sized favorite is justifiable. I'm not as high on Berger though, I think he had a nice run but not top of the division caliber.

The line seems right, it's pretty much what I expected. Personally though, I see value. Ellenburger has holes in his game- his gas tank probably being the biggest- but if he can keep the fight mostly standing, (which I don't think is unreasonable to assume) he's got a pretty decent shot at winning. Hendricks hasn't fought anyone as dangerous on the feet as Ellenburger. Kampmann is the most technically skilled of the bunch, but we all know he has a tendency to eat more than he should and get rocked. And there's not a lot of power there. Koscheck was the next biggest threat, but he basically has one punch, and questionable power, and some would argue that he lost that fight anyway. In short, he hasn't faced a guy with finishing power like Ellenburger yet, in fact, no one even close, so let's see how he fares.

On the other hand Jon Fitch had just come back from shoulder surgery and a long layoff when he fought Hendricks, I could argue that he was nowhere near 100%. Whether he was or wasn't we'll never know for sure, but IMO the Fitch that stepped into the cage with Hendricks wasn't the same Fitch that beat the hell out of Erick Silva.

Overall, I think the line is about right, but neither one is the world beater that many people think they are.
