You know, like elbows in Pride or knees to the head on the ground in UFC. Is this possible ?

PRIDE will be adopting UFC rules. no foot stomps, no knees on the ground, no soccer kicks, but elbows!

They wan't unified rules and that makes perfect sense. Also it will be nice not to listen to people on this forum makes excuses for fighters because they are not used to certain rules.

Why do people say you cant knee on the ground? I do believe it only applies to the head, if I were fighting I would knee to the body when I had side mount on the ground. I never will get why fighters dont utilize that move.

My 12 fighter army is as follows:

Dan Henderson
Mac Danzig
Mirko "the man" Filipovic
Anderson Silva
Fedor and Aleks
Mark Hunt
BJ Penn
Q. Rampage Jackson
Karo Parisyan
John Fitch
Frank Shamrock

you jsut cant knee to the head on the ground in the UFC. I can understand why UFC would take out stomps and soccer kicks, i think those moves are a little cheap, but whatever wins a fight right? and they wouldnt be aloud to have stomps kicks in the states. But UFC should really take a page out of prides books, i mean if they can get 100,000 people to come to there PPV its because they are exciting, almost every match, UFC should adopt the yellow card system, or at least let pride sitll have it.

Favourite fighters:

1. Mirko Cro Cop
2. Rampage Jackson
3. Chuck Liddell
4. Anderson Silva
5. Mark Hunt
