Poachers aren't hunters, they're poachers, and last I checked Hughes hasn't poached anything. Try again ignorant foreigner.

I didn't say Hughes was a poacher.

hunt
[huhnt]
verb
1.
to chase or search for (game or other wild animals) for the purpose of catching or killing.

Poaching is still hunting, just not legal hunting.

Try again arrogant American.

So all hunting is righteous? Period? I'd say there are plenty of circumstances where criticism of killing an animal is valid.

Matt Hughes has Plenty of down falls in his persona there is no need to bring hunting into it. Hunting has been argued and defended quite a few times on this "MMA" forum; and I for one do not need it to condemn Hughes. Matt Hughes though a good fighter in his time was never really one whom I would admire or believe stood the Moral High Ground... Hypocrite Much Mr Hughes

All I said was that he told fans that criticized his hunting to ef off. Not exactly an example of high standards when dealing with the public. The topic doesn't really matter.

Exactly. Even as a young fighter he already struck me as the self-righteous, religion preaching type who's also pretty much a jackass. Great fighter in his prime though, that much I can give him. That said, screw this code of conduct. Real fans ain't down with this.

Trash talking will be entertaining for all sorts of paying public in any sport as long they are confined to a certain limit. To ban racist and obscene actions and words, for example, will do only good to the sport and in the end I bet it will bring even more money.
The expression "real fight fan" is intriguing. I think this is a myth. UFC is interest in who pays, regardless of what makes you pay. So the "real fight fan" wouldn't stop whatching Diaz brothers fight if they were prevented from doing what they do, right? But I can see lots of potential paying public being lost by watching their deranged display.

Wow. Sounds like you're really put off by Jesus.

I think a code of conduct is a good thing for a professional sport. If we want it to be mainstream, it needs to be more like the sports that are in the mainstream.

Matt Hughes is a cu-nt and not the greatest WW of all time. This Code of Conduct is hardly going to damage, or even impact the UFC and its fighters. And hunting is for men with tiny dicks.

Gonna stay away from all the Hughes talk.

But I do wanna say, this will probably make the UFC look bad. They're going to have this code of conduct but will still probably be as selective in their enforcement as years past. Guys like Torres will get in trouble for things while guys like Evans will not. We certainly won't see Jones' getting punished for his wrong doings.
