That will most likely not happen. They will keep the titles with the organizations, but I hope that one day Fedor or Mirko will have both HW titles.

UFC/Pride titles won't be on the line in the 'superfights,' unless the Fertitas change their strategy.

It won't matter if the belts are on the line or not. These "superfights" are going to be hella sweet!

I was speaking in terms of the thread topic.

Yeah, I don't think there's any way around that fact.

There will be a global or undisputed championship similar to the Grand Prix titles I guess.

I don't know. They might keep the titles seperate or they might have tile unification fights. In which case I guess one organizations title would be useless for a year. Say Randy and Fedor fight. Say Fedor wins. He becomes the unified title holder. Then what happens to the UFC belt? Does it become a "lesser belt" for a year? Or does the UFC just have no champion and have a number one contender until the next super fight?

they'll proly just keep each organizations belt seperate and then award a HW Superfight belt to the winner. In which case, for one year everyone would know one champion was better. But then if the guy who lost last year's superfight kept the belt for another year in his organization, he's get a rematch.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
