Question Which of these fighters do you see (if any) phasing out within the next 2 years?

I'm curious as to what the future in UFC holds for these guys. Will any of these guys be done fighting within the next few years, will Matt Hughes ever hold a title again? Discuss....

Chuck is the oldest one, so I say he retires within two years.
I dont think Hughes is gonna fight much longer if he gets dominated by GSP again (probably gonna happen).

Matt Hughes - He'll stick around for a few more years, perhaps put some other fighters over because he probably won't be champ again.

Rich Franklin - Definitely will be around, probably not as champ, maybe move back up to 205 within the next few years?

Chuck Liddell - Probably will retire..

Georges St Pierre - Remain champ

Anderson Silva - Remain champ

Tim Sylvia - I don't ****ing care

there is no right or wrong answer cus nobody truly knows whats gunna happen

but ill give you my opinion

Matt Hughes - i see him retiring in the next 2-3 yrs tops, i think he has a good shot at beating GSP in the rubbermatch , i picked both correctly the first 2x they fight but ill have to wait till we get closer to the actual fight

Rich Franklin - isnt going anywhere , i think he'll take out Silva in the rematch

Chuck Liddell - 4-5 more fights then retirement

Georges St Pierre - bright future, if he beats Hughes again he'll officially own that division... i see him dominating the WW division and then kinda getting bored and moving up to the MDW division, being successful there too!

Anderson Silva - He'll always be top 3 @ 185lbs in the UFC

Tim Sylvia - I dont see him being UFC HVW Champion again , but you never know , all it takes is 1 right hand to connect and thats it

Matt Hughes - I really don't see Matt fading away anytime soon. I think he's still got a lot left in him. His next fight will really show us what direction he's going in. If he comes back as "old school Hughes" against GSP in the rematch, he's got a shot, but probably not much of one. GSP is too well rounded.

Rich Franklin - As long as Rich has the passion to fight, he's gonna be a top contender in the UFC for years to come. If you ask me, he's the #1 contender for Silva's belt right now, and whenever the rematch takes place, I see Franklin winning it, honestly. He really got caught in the first fight. But if he can get Silva on the ground, I think he can pull off the TKO.

Chuck Liddell - Like everyone else has said, he's gonna fight the big fights - Cro Cop, Fedor, Wandy, Rampage...then most likely retire. Why not? What else is there to accomplish?

Georges St Pierre - For him to be on this list is just plain retarded. He's got a huge future ahead of him. Probably 2 or 3 time champ by the time he retires.

Anderson Silva - He's not going anywhere either.

Tim Sylvia - Who cares? I wish he wouldn't fight again. His fights are boring as hell. With the exception of the fight against Couture. But that was a Couture fight, not a Silvia fight. It was more of a 25 minute MMA seminar.

Tim Sylvia- Most def will be gone in 2 years if he doesn't start being aggressive again.

Matt Hughes- Will still be around. If he doesn't win the WW title back then I can see him moving up to middleweight.

Chuck Liddell- I don't know why everybody is so damn eager to see Chuck Liddell retire. Are you people sniffing glue? Is that why you think this is going to happen soon? He said he wants to stick around until his body can't handle it anymore. So he isn't going to faze out. He'll probably stick around for another 5 years.

Anderson Silva- No way. He'll still be here.

GSP- He'll still be here unless he gets beat by Matt Hughes.

Franklin- Probably. Unless he can beat Anderson Silva and Nate Marquardt he'll probably be gone.

Hughes - should be around for a little while longer. In interviews he stated he doesn't have that much left as his body is not responding the same after training, something that comes with age. Also stated he wanted to go for the middleweight title and honestly I don't see anyone beating GSP anytime soon.

Silva - I'm on the fence on this one. A black belt in BJJ and Thai kick boxing expert, Anderson has the talent to hang around for a while. But APPARENTLY a good game and take down is all it takes to beat Silva.

Franklin - Great heart and tough as nails. I can't count Rich out. But we'll have to see, injuries are plentiful with him and they will take their toll.

St. Pierre - he's not going anywhere. I don't think they'll make him a "poster boy" but he's going to be dominate for a long time, could be fedor-like but the welter weight division is deep and growing.

Sylvia - A big guy who can take a punch, that simply lost his hunger. With more competition we'll have to see how the big man adapts. A lot of hate, but he has ko power and that gives anyone a chance to be a champion sometime in the future.

Chuck Lidell - I think he could fight well into his 40s. Chuck (like Randy) was born to fight. Hell it's in him and he stated that as long as he can train he'll be fighting. But all that's left for Chuck is the world's best and a match with Cro Cop, Fedor, Wanderlei, Rampage, Henderson, you never know what will happen.

Hughes would make a small middleweight. He's too short compared to other middleweights and would in turn, always be at a loss in reach.

But if Hughes is able to get himself down to 155lbs, he could compete there. That's for sure.

Hughes' body type isn't met to go much smaller and he is too thick to cut that kind of weight. Sakurai in Pride is in the same situation. His strength and wrestling could help get him by in a couple fights but yes the reach disadvantage and size will play a role as I can see him eating some knees against Sivla.
