Rogan with Bas Rutten

I hope for superfight it will be those 2 that will comment fight cuz i ****ing hate Goldberg. UFc commentary is lacking of Knowlegde. Rogan know well is ground game and Bas Know every thing so it will be a good mix

It'd be nice, but Bas is signed with another org. I believe its IFL? Could be wrong.

No I don't think it would work out that well. They are both the color commentator. I guess one of them could take over the host's job, but you really need a host type guy with a color commentator.

I can see it know ... Bas would get so tired of Rogan saying "what he needs to do is..." so the next time somebody gets someone in a triangle and rogan opens his mouth and says "What he needs to do.." bas will drop rogan on his ass, put him in a triagle and say "ok smartass, show me" hmmmm that might be interesting

Exactly. The whole point of commentating is to help the audience follow the action. Someone has to be speaking in layman's terms, and there's no reason to waste Rutten or Rogan's knowledge-base on playing the fool. That's what Mike's for.

I think when Rogan Says stuff like"what he needs to do now..." it's only trying to give the viewer at home some insight into grappling theory...I don't believe that he is trying to offer advice to any fighters. Say what you want about Goldberg(who is not my favorite either btw), but thet guy has the smooth announcing voice we all want to hear. As much as I like Bas as a fighter and a person, his accent and poor grammer make pride a lil harder to understand. But DAMN is that guy hilarious.

Fighters I enjoy watching:
Fedor
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson
Martin Kampman
Jake Shields
Thiago Tavares
Urijah Faber

Joe Rogan NutHugger...and proud of it

Oh I agree, I think Joe Rogan deserves alot of credit for educating the lay fan in the ground game. Early UFC, the minute the fight hit the ground, the boos started, now the crowd understands more what is happening so the boos dont start until its obvious that the fighters are just gonna lay there and dry hump each other. and like I said, Joe Rogan deserves alot of the credit for that. So please don't let my joke about bas kickin joe's butt give you the impression I don't like joe ... I was trying to be funny.

Bas dealt with Quadros for the longest time. I don't think he'd have a problem with Rogan.

The three man team can work, it does when Randy is there anyways, sometimes in Pride it is a trainwreck though (see Royce during sakuraba/silva). I know that Randy and Bas calling Hunt/Silva was the most entertaining color I've ever listened to. Sadly I think Bas is done commentating as he became tired of the travel
