Amir Sadollah vs Stephen Thompson scheduled for Memorial Day weekend UFC event

Quote:
Sources told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani on Friday that Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson will face Amir Sadollah in a welterweight battle on Sat., May 25. While a venue for the unnamed event has yet to be determined, the UFC traditionally holds Memorial Day weekend cards in Las Vegas.
Love this fight. Wonderboy has some sick kicks.

Man it sucks that Sadollah can't get a fight he can win as of late lol, love the guy but he got in the game far too late, with no experience. It's amazing what he accomplished on the TUF show, but he's gonna lose bad, and get cut IMO.

I love me some Sadollah

I don't think they would cut him. His entire pro career has taken place in the UFC and he is 6-4 right now with some very respectable losses. I don't think his job is on the line here.
He is a UFC product and likeable guy. Those are major +s for him.

I hope so OUS, he's a more likeable Forrest Griffin, very humble to the point of being self-depricating, but a very funny guy. His stand-up is top notch but he's getting overwhelmed as of late.

Front Straigh kick Vs. Roundhouse kick!! This should be fun.

Based on some of the comments here, I don't think Amir is being underrated but I do think Thompson is being overrated a bit... I think Amir's got a good chance at this. He'll be smart to try to use is BJJ, IMO.
