Rumor: Vitor vs Rockhold in works

Source: http://www.cagedinsider.com/ufc/whit...luke-rockhold/

Quote:
During yesterdays pre-fight press conference, the question of who’s next for Vitor Belfort, after dismantling the proposed top contender Michael Bisping came up. To this UFC president Dana White was quick to say Strikeforce import “Luke Rockhold.”
This pretty much confirms Rashad vs Spider pending a Rashad win this weekend.

hope Vitor doesn't KO another potential contender for Anderson. I don't want to see Belfort/Silva II

This combined with Dana's comments last week confirms that the UFC is hoping Rashad wins this weekend so they can book Rashad vs Spider. After saying that they had something in place and if "everything played out right" they could announce Spider's next fight real soon...like this weekend when Rashad wins.

Oh no, not Rashad. I don't think he'll do well with the weight cut. No way, not with his pace he needs to set for five rounds. He gasses out already at 205. If he really wants to I think it'll be interesting.

Anderson KOs Vitor.
LHW title holder subs Vitor.

LHW title holder wins a UD vs Rashad.
Anderson will probably finish a bewildered Rashad if not in the 1st then in the fourth or fifth rounds.

Marcus Aurelius: Tell me again, Maximus, why are we here?
Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

I really don't see this fight going any other way than a finish for Vitor.

So much crying about Chael "not" doing anything to deserve a title shot in another weight division.

Not sure I could survive the potential butthurt surrounding Rashad receiving a title shot at 185 -- a weight he has never fought at!

Rockhold is criminally underrated on this forum; that being said, Belfort has to be the significant favorite to win this fight due to experience alone. That, and he's looked like a beast as of late. I hope, however, that Rockhold beats him (somehow), because I *really* do not want to see Belfort vs. Silva II yet, if ever.

This is a good fight, Rockhold is a good kickboxer with solid athleticism and technique. Vitor still has to be the favorite though with his fast hands and power.
Why are people talking about Rashad in this thread? Dana has never said anything about giving Rashad a title shot and he's never even fought at Middleweight, GTFO...
