I'm not on either side as I don't understand why sides are mentioned? Weidman is hurt.
All I know is it is a pathetic day when a camp or fans of a camp whine because a fighter with 9 fights may not get a shot at the greatest of all time yet.

Yeah i dont really care about picking sides, i dont have a problem with weidman getting the shot but i dont think he deserves it, he could prove himself more by beating belfort, lombard, okami, jacare, rockhold...all solid wins in my boom if he did take them out
That said, i do want to see this fight, i do think weidman is probably the only guy at MW with a chance at beating AS but he doesnt have the right to demand a title shot, its not like johnny hendricks
Still i think this doesnt matter, Anderson never wants to fight who the UFC wants him to fight, he alwas picks random ppl, its just him pushing danas buttons so dana throws more money at him so he takes the fight, we have seen this a million times, its just Anderson playing his little game with Dana, i know he will end up fighting weidman

Weidman needs more fights. No way does he deserve the greatest of all time yet.
I'd rather see Vitor get another win under his belt then get the shitle tot again.

Everyone says how Weidman doesn't deserve a title shot but guess what, no one does at 185! Silva has such a stranglehold on the division that there is no one who has beaten the right guys in a succession to deserve a shot. What do you do? You pick the CLOSEST deserving and thats clearly Chris. Belfort needs another KO over a top 5 guy for me to want to see a rematch. I love Le but come on.

Thats not the point, well at least not where I am coming from.
Does Weidman deserve the shot? Maybe. He is a damn good fighter. But why do people cry over this...as if it is a travesty? Frankie is getting a shot, Diaz is, Sonnen is, Cain got a quick rematch. And we are going to sit and whine because a 9-0 fighter who is hurt may not get the shot right now?
Doesn't mean he doesn't deserve it, as MW is rather sparse right now. But it isn't as big of a deal as some people act like it is. The guy has 9 fights. And can't even fight until mid summer. I don't get it.

The fact of the matter is that if Weidman thinks he's good enough to beat Anderson anyway, then he should easily be able to beat a top contender and truly earn a title shot with no questions asked.
If i was Weidman, I wouldn't want to fight Anderson after such a long layoff anyways. A warm up fight would do him some good, maybe against someone like Michael Bisping or Vitor Belfort.

Cain Velasquez had 9 pro fights when he got and won the Heavyweight title from Lesnar, who had a whopping 3 fights when he won the title.

Cain defeated big nog though, and brock lesnar is on a different level tha CW, people would pay top dollars to see brock lesnar fight anybody, me personally I would pay to see lesnar do fake wrestler before I pay for a chris weidman fight at a discounted rate.

Vitor/Weidman seems like a good fight, whoever wins gets Anderson. Looks like it's going to be Vitor/Rockhold though.

Honestly I don't care anymore, they can make the fight tomorrow and if Weidman somehow wins then all the Silva haters can finally stop withholding ejaculation and crown this guy.
When he loses like he probably will I'll have to stop seeing this annoying spam.

Exactly, Cain with less than ten fights beat Big Nog whose had about 100 of them.
The number of fights Weidman has shouldn't be taken into account when it comes to a title shot, especially when he's won 8 of those 9 fights in very impressive fashion.
