Indeed.

Having said that, Gus' performance against Rua was the most impressive of the recent contender fights. Rua had nothing for him. Gus also proved to have a hardcore chin.

If only his reach wasn't so much shorter then Jones, I would give him a chance at victory. He does have very long legs though. It's a shame leg reach is never counted in the tale of the tape.

I think Machida would do a lot better second time around. He was going great until he saw his own blood in their first fight. I think he will be a lot better prepared next time they clash.
