Well it does have some fresh blood coming in with Rockhold and Jacare. Lombard is back in the mix as well. Then you have the possibility of Rashad dropping still. That's some nice top level talent coming in.

I think Melvin is the P4P Hardest puncher in MMA. You really cant go wrong with 25/27 wins being KOs, and 22 in the first round. Plus hes on a win streak. Why not give him a shot?

I was watching some Melvin Manhoef footage the other day I was thinking it would be cool if the UFC gave him a chance. I don't see why they wouldn't the guy always brings excitement and is a top level striker. I think he could potentially do alright in the UFC and stick around for a bit scoring a couple nice knockouts and providing some great moments for the UFC fans. If the UFC gave Phil Baroni a shot theres no reason they shouldn't give Manhoef a shot.

This is true. Phil Balogne is a caricature within a caricature. He's from the wrong era. He belongs in 1980's WWF. He would have made a killing back then.

It's no surprise Melvin's idol is Wanderlei. He's one of the few out there who fights like the Chute Box team.

Most of you have probably seen this video by now, but I'll throw it up anyways since it's a classic.

Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

They signed Paul Daley, why not sign Manhoef? I'm all for it.

I will always remember his fight with Robbie Lawler. Booting Robbies legs for most of the round and then bam, Lawler catches him with a bomb. POW right in the kisser.

And stopping Mark Hunt

Haven't seen many of his fights... Seems a bit undisciplined, but if you can knock out Mark Hunt who needs discipline.
