It Hunt ever steps in with Cain, it will be one of the most one sided beatdowns we have ever seen.

But I think Werdum should get the shot taking into account what we are left with.

So do you pull him off the Nog fight just in case? Cause that's a losable fight for Werdum. What happens then?

Backed 100%.

I've noticed a weird trend of people saying match-ups don't make sense for the division because they feature two "marketable challengers" for the division's current champ. Weirdest fight fan logic ever, do these people have shares in Zuffa or what?

if Werdum gets past big nog then Cain v Werdum is logical. but if Big nog pulls an upset win, then you cant deny him a shot. then many will argue that Cain Murdered him at UFC 110.

big foot just pulled off the win of his career and one of the biggest upsets against over roid. many will argue that warrants a title shot.. but against a guy that made a blood bath from him.. then again Cain got his rematch after 1 win and JDS will get a rematch if he beats overroid...

quite a mess isnt it.

I really fail to see a logical argument for nog wining and after silva/term I don't expect lightning to strike twice

Agreed with this. Very odd trend that is getting bigger and bigger.

I'm here for the fights. Not so much personalities or build up. I understand why they do it. But as a fan I like to see the best fights.

You can say that. But Nogs get underrated these days. Is there a logical reason on paper he can win? Not exactly. But like Hendo he doesn't need one. He finds people's chins and has more power than people realize.

He has proven that he isn't done. He got KO'd by Mir with Staph and looked the worst he ever has. He got KO'd by Cain, the current champ and straight beast. He handled Randy. He proved he still has some chin left vs. Schaub then KO'd him. He was killing Mir on the feet and easily would have cruised to vitory if he simply went for a ref stoppage over trying to sub the almost out Mir. He then handled Herman. He isn't top 5. But he has proven that he can hang and beat solid guys. Werdum has a better versatility of strikes, but who is to say Nog can't get inside and mix it up?

Everyone counted out Lil Nog as well. They are both still very solid boxers with more chin than one may think. Werdum's biggest advantage is he moves better and can hit him at range with kicks.

XkerryXhartX has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Dana- "Our heavyweight division has never been better." Circa since 2010. Yeah, and it still sucks. The absolute worst division, this side of flyweight. Only two legit guys, Cain and Dos Santos.
Barnett- ain't coming to the UFC
Cormier- DC going to light heavy after destroying Mir
Bigfoot- knocked out by two wrestlers in a row, DC and Cain, then ko's a scrub in Browne and overrated ubereem
Reem- overrated nuff said, sending Brock to retirement don't mean shit
Hunt/Struve winner- a couple of winning streaks over nobodies and now they're possible title contenders? Give me a break.
Werdum/ Big Nog winner- way down the road and only Werdum has a chance, against Cain that is.
Sucks for Cain to have to wait till Dos Santos or Werdum win their next bouts for him to get a fight, but alas this is the UFC heavyweight division.
