The casual fan usually doesn't look at anything other than the main event. UFC 136 was stacked but it's ppv buys were terrible. It had two title fights and Chael Sonnen's return yet it only did 200k.

If I was a fighter, I would never want to be on an Edgar card. Barely anyone gets to see you fight.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

Casual fan in the US was talking about this card. I had no idea it was so dead outside the US based on the responses. But it had plenty of buzz here in the states.

On that list only GSP is a top draw in the sense that you can put him against anyone anytime and he will pull a big number. This is because of his mainstream appeal and big Canadian fanbase. As for the rest of them, they all have good numbers on their resume, but you can't put them in against anyone with little marketing and expect to scrape a million or anything close to it. Georges is a draw, Brock was a draw, the rest of them really arent.

I asked this same question on a board that has only Americans and the lowest vote is at 550K right now. I'm still the only one saying in the 800s, which I'm probably wrong about the more I think about it. But still here in the states it seems to be a much bigger card then internationally. It got plenty of buzz and featured a handful of well known fighters.

Everyone I know that is even casual fan was talking about this card. It was mentioned on even the local radio and they almost never mention the UFC cards. Hell ESPN had the results for 3 of the fights on the bottom line and they rarely even give the results on the bottom line unless it's a major card. Which this one was.

Thats weird. I live in San Jose which is a pretty big place for MMA and i barely saw any discussion for this card. Hell people were asking me when the next card is and who is headlining.

Anyway i hope your right that it does pull in big numbers. I dont see it though.
