Then you have Chael and Florian going on about it being how marketable you are, which makes sense, the UFC's a business and for a business to thrive they gotta make money, but they way they said it just really put me off.

And then this Ronda Rousey thing, saying she's done more than guys like Tito, who I'm not even a fan of, and how Cyborg's scared of her, I'm just kinda over the UFC at this point, I'll watch 157 and the free cards but after that I'm not buying PPV's for a while.
You know what really has my blood boiling today. The rumor of the UFC WANTING Josh Barnett to fight Cain in May. That is the report out this morning and it is making me furious. I hate all the Josh Barnett represents. I can't think of a worse representative as UFC Champion then Josh.

I've literally seen nothing to substantiate that rumour outside of a single post on Sherdog (which has since been deleted), and I don't have to tell you that said site is hardly reliable.

Thank goodness. A guy at another forum I post at that comes up with these rumors that he hears from a "birdie" was harping on it. He is hit and miss with his info. Glad to see it has no legs. Cause it makes me very upset to think about lol

When people say how Dana is so awesome etc. & act like he's the sole/main reason the UFC has gotten to where it is today, I cite exactly the things in the OP to counter them.

Funny how that works. lol

How many people actually do that? I see people giving Dana credit, but very few consider him the sole reason for MMA's success. The blame that gets placed firmly on Dana's shoulders far outweighs any praise he receives. Let us not pretend otherwise.

Not fanboys, but fighters.
They could always wait until their contract runs out and try to sign with Bellator. Which is the toughest tournament in sports or something. Then it would be fair.

Like I have said, these aren't the first instances of undeserved title shots. It isn't a new thing.

Heeeeellllll no! That's not even close to being a true statement. Especially when you talk about all the casual fans that take that mans word as Law. It makes me sick how people buy his BS and give him passes based on "what he did for the sport". It's like he can do no wrong because he made it this far. So that means everything he does is the right thing. Those people outweigh by far the ones that question him. It's not even close. Maybe because you are seeing a concentrated group of super fans but the wide majority are pro Dana. Very, very pro Dana.

You may not "buy" them. But you will watch them.

Exactly this.

I think this is the first time I've ever disagreed with you, CP. (maybe it's because I'm sober at the moment)
