Hearing Manny Gamburyan, scheduled to fight Chad Mendes at UFC157 broke his thumb yesterday and fractured his elbow. He's apparently out.

I really hope they just pull Mendes off the card instead of trying to squeeze in a last minute replacement. I'd like them to setup a fight with Siver, Guida or Frankie. Even if he has to wait until the March GSP-Diaz card.

I agree. Mendes Guida or Mendes Siver would both be solid.
I'd like to watch Guida lose, so Mendes/Guida sounds good.

but what if clay beat mendes and then won another fight? I can hear it now "Guida has always been a fan favorite. He's dropped from 155 and has since gone on a 3 fight win streak against top competitors. He's going to be aldo's toughest fight yet" - UFC

Clay Guida vs Chad Mendes would unquestionably be the most boring fight in the history of the UFC.

Manny should call it a day. He withdraws from every other fight. Too prone to injury.
