to correct the poster, hughes was not dominated, surprised a little, but not dominated. just the look on his face after the tap says that he was in a fight, but not one that bothered him too much. a little added preparation(not much prep in the 1st) and we'll see Hughes win by kimura.

oh man...Saying American beer is better than Canadian beer is a joke. I'm glad Americans think Canada sucks...that means they won't move up here LOL
I think Hughes is in for the fight of his life. If he doesn't realize that he's gonna get punished. The one thing Hughes has over GSP is the power. Which will give GSP a real hard time on the ground and in the clinch.
Penn vs Hughes would be good too since Penn really did quite well vs GSP, but he didn't win. He landed a couple hard shots in the first that made Peirre bleed, but GSP won the other 2 rounds. He brought the fight to him the whole time, bloody or not.
about Penn "sending" GSP to the hospital after the fight, well, like the other guy said ti's probably pretty common, but of course he went to the hospital - they had to check out his eye from getting poked, and his nose. 0_o

I thought it was mandatory for all UFC fighters to be taken to the hospital for a checkup after a fight.

I hope ST P pulls it out. Hughes is good and all, but I think it's time for him to lose. ST Pierre is so fast and crafty, but Hughes is like a bear. If Georges cant avoid getting sat on and pounded, he may be able to take the fight to Hughes all the way.

I think that GSP will probably beat Matt Hughes, but it all depends on how good GSP works in the clinch.
Anyway, if BJ comes back he'll beat either of them.

Well maybe Matt Hughes but not Georges St. Pierre. St. Pierre recently beat him but it wasn't easy getting owned in the first round. But I think BJ can beat Hughes again. Hughes is brutal against martial artists like Penn and St. Pierre its just St. Pierre the first time they faught was inexperienced and only beat Hieron and Parisyan to get to Hughes, no one else. Hes learned from the loss, hes beating everyone Hughes had trouble with, Jason Miller, Frank Trigg, Sean Sherk, and BJ Penn. I really would like to see BJ Penn fight Sean Sherk although Penn would own Sherk.
What about this Jens Pulver guy? He's beaten BJ Penn before and has returned to the UFC. Do you think this means he could beat guys like Sherk, Hughes, and maybe but probably not St. Pierre? Just wondering your thoughts on Pulver.
