Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Travis Browne booked for The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale

A heavyweight bout between Gabriel Gonzaga (14-6 MMA, 9-5 UFC) and Travis Browne (13-1-1 MMA, 4-1-1 UFC) will take place in April at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale.
UFC President Dana White today announced that verbal agreements are in place for the bout.
As MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) first reported, The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas hosts the April 13 event, which includes a main card on FX and prelims on FUEL TV and Facebook.
Gonzaga vs. Browne likely will be part of the main card.
Gonzaga recently picked up his third straight win and moved to 2-0 in his latest UFC stint with a second-round submission victory over Ben Rothwell at UFC on FX 7. The former title challenger received his pink slip in 2010 following a 1-3 skid (with losses to Shane Carwin, Junior dos Dantos and Brendan Schaub). However, a regional-show win and late-notice UFC opportunity got him back in the octagon, where he submitted Ednaldo Oliveira upon his UFC return in early 2012.
Browne, meanwhile, had won three consecutive UFC fights and was knocking on the door of a potential title fight before a TKO loss to Antonio "Bigfoot Silva in October. Browne, who tore a hamstring in the headlining fight, owns nine knockouts in 13 career wins, which included a superman-punch KO of fellow contender Stefan Struve in 2011.

Maybe he should of lost to Kongo but he's a much better fighter now,i just don't see GG beating Browne for some reason .

we'll see how brownes knees are from blowing them out with footwork against bigfoot, if gonzaga kicks those legs and use his BJJ he can win but if he gets in a slugfest again hopa can win it

I think GG keeps it competitive but if Browne is healthy he takes this IMO.
