I must say this is the first time I've ever watched Primetime and it hasn't got me jacked to see the fight. I still could careless about this match up or any fight in the womens division. Honestly someone should just open up the Womens fight league or the Women Fighting championships.

True I suppose. Never a nice quality to have IMO.

Still like to see her win though!

The idea of athletes as role models doesn’t usually work out well these days. I think Ronda is an exception. Her story is inspirational. Some people see arrogant, I see confident. Yes she’s “outspoken” (do we use that term for men?) and when you are, .. not everything you say comes out as well as when you rehearse it. ... Ask Chael.

My little girls are surrounded by images of women and role models in the media. Ronda is about as good as they get. I let my daughters watch her, I want them to pick up on her confidence and take no shit attitude. She’s the prime reason my 7 year old has forced martial arts training on me. My 8year old stuck with horse riding but she armbars me all the time

In my opinion dismissing women’s sports is dismissing women. a mistake on many levels.

I pity the fool that tell’s my baby to make him a sandwich.

...ignore my new av. I'm just taunting rusty

That's exactly what I picked up after watching that as before it was the arrogance. You put it nicely.

If you spend your entire life hearing people make fun of you and tell you that you can't do it, the only way to succeed is to constantly tell yourself that you can do it... and you have to believe it. The arrogance is probably just the mindset she's had to adopt in order to reach the level of success that she has.

Her work ethic and talent are second to none. I really don't like arrogant people, but I can definitely understand where she is coming from.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

I would even say she's the cream of the crop among them. What male fighters have finished all of their fights in the first round via the same method of winning? That's damn near impossible whether you're a male, female, zombie, or ape.
