I don't disagree with you that he COULD have finished the fight, but him not finishing the fight on purpose is debatable. From my view, it looked like more of a conditioning thing.

Who knows, it's not like we'll ever get an answer out of the guy about it. He looked tough as hell, though. Breaking Mike Swick down like that isn't an easy thing to do.
You could be right about the conditioning part. I only watched it once at the bar. But I was mainly talking about his RNC attempts. I could of sworn he had that thing locked in all 3 times but he just kept letting go after a couple seconds of locking it in and continues punishing Swick. He did kind of the same thing to Kaleb when they fought, like he just broke him mentally, so I'm starting to think he just likes doing that because it increases his chances of winning. I could be wrong though, I just meant that's how it looked to me.

For sure, I'm not saying you're wrong at all. He very well could've been letting go of the rear naked choke attempts on purpose, but he probably did that so he could pound him out. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't look like he had the gas to pound Swick out, because those punches he was throwing from mount couldn't knock an infant out. Whatever the case, he clearly beat Swick and he's going to make for some good potential matchups.

Hell, I'd like to see Franklin and Okami.

Yeah, he definitely could've gotten the RNC several times. He just wanted to pound on him.

I think these 2 should fight, and the winner faces the winner of Silva/Nate.

Watch from the 2:15, down to the 2:00 point of Round 1. You'll see what I'm talking about.
I mean just look at this...Swick simply couldn't gameplan around the SHEER STRENGTH of Okami. He just muscles him down.

After that moment, I was like "Yep...Michael is out-matched here."

I said before the ppv started that on paper it looked like the best fight, butttttt...I was disapointed. Swick got taken down too much. That last series Okami was hitting as hard as a 12 year old, the ref should've stood them up. That was the worst GNP I've ever seen. It looked at times Swick had opp's to KO Okami, but he seemed too gassed. From what? I dunno.

That's the part I was leased impressed with. Why risk your opponent sneaking in a submission, or flipping you over?

It was sad watching Swick mentally give up after the first round. He told his cornerman that Okami is too strong. After hearing him say that, I knew he was going to lose.

Okami has been a bit of a sleeper to date...after beating swick he has got to be top 5 in rankings now. Silva and marquardt should be awesome....Franklin & okami could be good also i agree.

Okamis a beast he's now one of my favorite fighters. I wanna see him fight Macdoanld. The fight would be great and im sure Okami has the skills to put Macdoanld away.I would predict a 3rd round submission by strikes.
