I'm glad Nate got the spot, despite T woods campaigning to be on deck since his nice win at 156.

This comes back to the " ranking system" if they ranked every welterweight, beyond the top 10 which I wish they had of, Nate would be around 10-13, while T wood would be 15-18.

Woodley rushed Heiron, but was KO'd by Nate just before that

I think Woodley should be fighting a Mike, as in Pierce or Pyle

Yes. Because that's what I said. Something tells me reading comprehension isn't a strong suit of the American educational system (assuming it has any strong suits).

My concern with Rory's injury was that they might take Condit off of the card. And while that wouldn't have ruined the event, it certainly would have put a damper on it. It was a very strong card, and I didn't want to see any of the fights scrapped. Now they've managed to perhaps even improve upon the original. That's all I was getting at.

That's a pretty safe assumption right there. But you did say "card saved" which implies it needed saving...looks like you are splitting hairs. But yeah, reading comprehension not a strong point. But it is a sensitive subject...

Or you could be over analyzing for the sake of over analyzing. 'Card saved' is perfectly acceptable where we've dodged a scrapped fight. I understand what you're getting at... we weren't on the verge of losing the main event. But losing any of the three main bouts would have cheapened this card. There's no denying it.

Yeah the main card would have suffered for sure. The UFC did a very poor job of picking which fights should be on the main card. So yeah it would have hurt the PPV portion of the card way more then it should have. This card is full of WW. Hell even moving up the very exciting youngster Mein would have been just fine with me. I think he would be game vs Ellengerger.

Psyched to see Nate back, hope he pulls off the win, Ellenberger has the KO power, but Nate is better all round IMO.

Lyoto,

I think both fighters have improved greatly since June of 2010..the biggest difference in the curve would be the size and strength of Rory,

I think in the rematch (hopefully it can still happen this year) Rory would push the lanky Condit around..

I wonder if Rory will wait (the only reason he got the fight with Condit was because of Condits loss) if Condit beats Big Rig I'm not sure that a matchup up with Rory is as deserving (for Rory) and that would mean the winner would fight for the title
