Why would Sonnen be ok with this? Unless he was given the guarantee that he wont be tested or his would be swept under the rug. Hes going to (should be) be under the microscope from now on, like other guys he was called our or mocked.

Dunno how you can abuse TRT when its Doctor approved, supervised and they provide the amounts, and the TRT users have to give notice to the UFC beforehand which they have done. The only guys who hasent was Sonnen and Marquardt, their first times, and were the only guys were who were punished for it. Sonnen shouldnt be confident about TRT when he has a red flag, unless he is trying to divert attention away from himself towards other guys like Belfort. I hate TRT because after you get your TRT, you can probably sneak in some PEDs somewhere and just say the elevated testosterone was due to the TRT. I would say this would be the real abuse of TRT not whatever Dana comes up with, especially when he operates off favoritism. Such a grey area.

Im not a big supporter of TRT anyways, never have been, I just want it banned entirely.

If you take random or regular tests you can't abuse TRT without getting caught, your doctor knows within just a few small minor points where your test level should and will be every day, they know how much it goes up with the injection and when, when it peaks and when it drops, how much it drops every day. There is no wiggle room if they are serious.

Good move IMO. They should randomly test anyone fighting 6 months out.

I'm not against TRT, or even roids for that matter. But fair is fair. Everyone should be on the same page.

The only steroid that provides more testosterone in your system is testosterone. The majority of other compounds actually shut down your testosterone production. If you are stacking the TRT with a PED, then you will piss positive for a banned substance, not elevated levels.

This is amazing. I was thinking the other day how I have trouble really appreciating the sport as much because of how tainted it has become. It's mutating from a sport to a contest of abuse of the rules. I have a strong feeling a lot of guys are going to start missing their weight cuts.

Doctors, once they are convinced you know how to do it on your own, will give you a supply to take with you. This is especially true if you travel often and won't be able to go in to the office for your injections. Sonnen even wrote on his drug test papers when he got busted that he took his normal prescribed injection, self administered.
