If that is accurate, then why is Overeem being accused of using PEDs when he only got caught with elevated testosterone? Shouldnt that just mean that he was using TRT and did not properly disclose/manage it?

Passing fad? Manipulating your metabolism and biological pathways through science even modifying your genetics are going to be the norm in the future.
Cycling went after drug cheats so much that it actually damaged the image of the sport. Most other sports seem to sweep the problem under the rug to protect their $billion market.
As if cyclists take more drugs than marathoners, triathletes, rugby players or MMA fighters.
If there is big money to be made in entertainment people will cheat the system at every corner.

I expect this is nothing but one big PR exercise. The UFC is the one doing the tests and Dana doesn't give a damn about roids, otherwise he'd never have signed Overeem, given such an easy acceptance to TRT etc.

So what if they do random tests? They're by the UFC for the UFC. Is there some guarantee that they don't turn around and flush the tests right after they get home? Is there even any assurance that there are tests being done? Internal auditing is no auditing. Get VADA or a neutral third party involved, then I'll be impressed.

Heck, Chael Freaking Sonnen of 16:1 fame is praising this, that in itself should tell you guys what a laugh they're having at the gullible fans who believe this.
