Shut the **** up.
He's clearly a troll.
I like how you feel the need to defend him just because you share his terrible opinions.
The sort of person that would cry and stomp his feet about Jon Fitch of all people, and not be his cousin or girlfriend, is some antagonistic hipster akin to that old poster who had the Thing as his avatar that is the only person to ever make my ignore list after getting tired of his constant shitposting. It's just people looking for something to complain about because they have some sort of childish vendetta against the UFC.
You have no idea what the business model for a combat sport like this is SUPPOSED to be. Because it's never been done before. The closest thing is contracts in boxing where fighters get dumped and sign elsewhere on a constant basis.
I'm always blown away how any incident can send a "fan" into some ridiculous tirade about pro wrestling and delegitimizing the sport.
You're labelling him as a troll, yet you open your post with the same kind of language the "troll" used - "Shut the **** up". You should be banned for using the same remarks to another poster, but you won't be because of a gold plated name and a join date. He was right. You know you're in a position of power and so you look to abuse it when newer members join this forum and express maybe some unpopular opinions. It's people like you Rofl who are shying away other new members from this forum because you think you have some sort of power or special entitlement because you have a longer join date and a life time membership.
You label him as a troll and call my opinion terrible, yet you're the same poster that went on endless rants about about how Shogun Rua is a coward and not a true fighter. Okay.
On topic, no, one does actually know what their model is "supposed" to be, but there are quite clearly striking similarities between the UFC and the WWE, even more so within the last two years. The deal with FOX has been flopping massively, Dana has been booking mega fights for guys simply running their mouth and hyping stuff up (Chael Sonnen), he's pumping more money into a show fans have been losing interest in for years (TUF), an entire womens division has been added because he's in love with Ronda Rousey, the TRT scandal is just out of control at this stage and now he's cutting legitimate top ten fighters from this "sport" he refers to it as.
That isn't trolling, it's making a bunch of valid points which clearly show you the UFC is centred now, more than ever towards entertainment rather than legitimate sporting competition.
