There were too many actual good fights for it to be the worst event ever. Then again, BOOM is clearly just mad at the outcome of Machida vs. Henderson, regardless of what he says.

It's what we did'nt see. Both of these fighters can go 5 rounds, and it should have considering the winner is basically next in line for Jones after he beats up that can Sonnen.

Also, this was hardly a bad card, people are just pissed Machida went all old school Machida on Hendo's ancient ass.

Lawler won, thought that was a huge mismatch.
McGee/Neer was a decent scrap.
Faber set himself up for another beating at Cruz's hands.
Lyoto went old school.
Carmouche was probably Rousey's toughest fight.

Great card actually, people just forgot how elusive Machida can be.

It's about average. Koscheck lost which was awesome, Faber/Menjivar was about average, Neer/McGee was good, and the other 2 fights were frustrating to watch because of the braindead mistakes and lack of gameplans.

No the PPV sucked. In fact it sucked really hard because there wasn't any good fights. Hence the thread, you're welcome.

Alot of good fights tonight. I wish the Hendo vs Machida fight didn't go to decision.

What does this mean? Means back to his point fighter days?

Or was he just deathly afraid to get hit? When it is Bader or old man Couture he is "new school" machida? All his fans said how he would KO Machida (I don't think you did) but people picked Hendo to get his first KO loss because Machida found his groove and was aggressive....

No, he was just fighting a guy who can KO him. So he fought scared....or "elusive" as his fans say. Same plan that cost him the Rampage fight. He was scared there too. He almost gave this away on teh cards, because judges don't respect that style. Old school means Machida wants to win on the score cards and not get hit. I wouldn't be thrilled with "old school Machida" you do that often and you will get burnt by the judges.

Most of these fights were awesome, I still have to rewatch the main event though, it really looked to me like Rousey tapped and that's why Carmouche dropped the hold.

Thanks to Killz for the great sig!
