He also said Gustaf would get it no more than a week ago.

Point? Dana says a lot of things.

And you consider this final? Dana also used a post fighter presser to announce Johny Hendricks as the next number one contender after Hendricks KOed Kampmann. And last I checked, Johny's face isn't on the UFC 158 poster.

Gus deserves it more but I wouldn't mind seeing Lyoto/Bones II as well.

If Gustafsson manages to do a clear win vs Mousasi be should get the next title shot.

Machida won vs Henderson. I cannot believe one judge has it 29-28 for Hendo...
I had it 30-27 for Machida. Still, the rounds were fairly close. That is why I think Gus should get the shot. He outlanded Shogun more clearly than Machida did to Hendo.

Who other than Jones impressed beating Shogun ?
Both Henderson and Machida beat Shogun but it was very close.
Gus took little damage.

Just saying Gus win vs Shogun was clear with clearly won rounds.

And Machida arguably lost to Shogun twice. There's a way to spin everything my friend.

Gus looked like he wanted to put on a show against shogun so he ate some shots he probably didn't have to.
