Sonnen would walk through Machida's 'elusiveness' and control him the entire fight. And Jones would maul him... again.

Machida will get destroyed by Jones again but he would make Sonnen look stupid if they fought.

Stylistically, Sonnen is an easier match up for Machida. Wrestlers have no clue how to hand him. He pushes them off very easy, and does his thing. Look at Bader and Couture.
I actually think Sonnen has a better shot against Silva than he does Machida.
I think Machida is still and underdog against Jones, but see an upset in the making.

Sure he does, he should sit around and wait for that to happen to cause every one who has officially been given the next shot at Jones has got it..

Let's be honest... both Couture and Bader tried to stand with Machida and paid for it. Neither really utilized their wrestling whatsoever. Rampage Jackson, however, did... and we all know how that turned out (and this was a lazy Rampage to boot).
Machida is not impervious. A good fighter who comes in with and sticks to an actual game plan can defeat him.

Even Rampage believed he lost that fight. Loyoto blew that one though, for being too lazy in the first 2 rounds.
But that's the point. No wrestlers have been able to implement their wrestling with Machida because they can't. He's wrestling defense is the best in the game. Sonnon would not have a chance against him. He's actually got a better chance against Jones IMO, but we'll see what happens there.
I just think you're wrong across the board on Lyoto, though. Sounds like you just don't like him, as your comments are more emotional that analytical. That's what I'm seeing, anyway.

Henderson still deserves it. Lyoto looked like garbage. He hasn't shown any improvement since he was smashed by Jones. I actually gave the fight to Henderson. Not trolling, just not impressed.
