Most of the people who whine about bad or watered down cards don't watch the prelims.

Well I don't see how the card overall was crappy. The main event fights were all very good fights and the main event definitely delivered. So honestly Ronda just topped off a great card.

It's awesome that the women get to fight and compete etc, but I really REALLY don't want to have these cards mixed gender. That fight still looked like highschool dudes fighting each other to me and it simply is boring. I'd much rather have the cards separated personally.

Dana's lucky that that fight happened after Henderson and Machida cause it made the match up look much more exciting lol. I did appreciate the fire in both of them though, they both went out there to fight I at least give them credit for that.

Favorite fighters
1. Jens Pulver
2. Diego Sanchez
3. Chuck Liddell
4. Dan Henderson
5. Jason Von Flue
6. Chris Lytle

are you saying that you want separate events for women and men? like WUFC#1 and then the next next week later UFC#158 etc?

Head-butting fists and KOing the air is not effective striking.

Come on man, the ME was an exciting fight, regardless of what it followed. It had everything you'd want from a championship fight.

I think it's good to have women on the same card as the men and to be honest, I enjoyed the womens 135lb fight as much, if not more than any of the mens 135lb fights so far.

That pre-lim fight was great. What's ironic is that I was pissing and moaning about Hendo/Machida playing second fiddle to Rousey-Carmouche. And I was complaining about WMMA. Then Hendo/Machida was slow and boring, whereas Rousey fight was great and entertaining. I was 100% wrong about WMMA (although I still feel like it should be an attraction as opposed to finding its way onto every card).

Rep for admitting you were wrong. SO many people don't do that on here.

Thank you. I'm surprised at how dead wrong I was about everything. I thought WMMA was a bad idea, that it wouldn't work, out, and not enough people would care to purchase. And now low and behold it was a great fight, fans were into it, and apparently the buy rate was good as well.

I still think Dana is going overboard when comparing Rousey to Lesnar, but she seems to be the real deal, along with interest in WMMA as a whole.
