We all know Anderson's scared to take that beating but Jesus Christ! This is rich even for Anderson, he'll fight the bigger man but only if Bones weakens himself severely due to a weight cut meanwhile Anderson has has no problem making 205 and beating bigger guys.

This guy's a joke. I hope Weidman strangles him.

Yet people expect Cyborg to cut weight to fight Ronda and Anderson Silva to cut weight to fight GSP.

People gotta make up their mind in if people can cut big weight or not...

Its just posturing...at the end of the day for all three fighters its about $$$ and legacy = money or earning potential..

Silva, being in the middle is "saying" he will go either way to this weight or that, when in fact at the end of the day Dana will conduct a serious negotiation with Silva, especially if its for the rumoured November MSG card.

Its always business and it will always affect the fighters pocket book,

P4P PPV is

GSP
Silva
Jones (*Rousey may have leaped him)

Its just annoying that the P4P best fighter in the world, is requiring both WW and LHW champs to sacrifice weight in order to fight him.. he can make 205 no problem, and thats why everyone wants to see him and Jones fight... And/Or GSP is scared and wants Silva to come down to 170 to fight him...

A.Silva needs to make a decision... gain weight or lose weight.. or retire...

Jones cant make 19x without sacrificing something, and Silva cant make 170 without sacrificing something... Silva simply doesn't want to be the one making the sacrifice..

The dude signed a 8 fight contract, either defend your title, or step it (Up or Down) and make the super fight happen!

Head-butting fists and KOing the air is not effective striking.

Stop being children and calling Anderson a coward for no good reason. He is not giving these cards alone, UFC is involved and the catchweight interests Jones dramatically as he would not risk his belt. Jones ducked an unprepared Sonnen, for god sake...

Pretty sure Silva said he would make 170 to fight GSP. It sad people are giving Silva heat for giving his stipulations for a super fight whereas you don't hear anything from the other two. I'll give Jones a pass as he has other things to focus on and still relatively new to the sport.

But GSP plain and simple has been ducking Anderson Silva. his fight was supposed to happen 5 years ago. GSP has done nothing but make excuses, and hasn't give one possibility of the fight. Why can't GSP just come and and say he'll do it at 170?

I think the GSP camp was avoiding the SIlva fight for two simple reasons,

1 - the long layoff

2 - The Diaz money maker. Diaz is the last big money fight at 170. Had GSP fought SIlva and lost, the fight at 170 with Diaz would have zero luster and in the mean-time Diaz would have likely lost to another WW-wrestler. No other WW has the PPV appeal (and we all know GSP gets a big cut of PPV $$)

After the Diaz fight, im sure the GSP camp will focus on the Silva super-fight for the fall, that will give him 8 months to prepare and put on the necessary weight to fight at 178 catch-weight.

Sorry Jonny Hendricks!!!

Diaz..Edgar.. Cormier.. Cain.. Mir.. Overeem.. Jon Jones

Exactly.

That's the thing.

None of the three want to fight each other(except Silva wants GSP) because they have to sacrifice and risk so much and none of the three needs the fight at all.

It's a bad fight for all three guys...a lot of risk and not much reward except for some big money....but they stand to lose more with a loss than they have to gain from one big pay day.

GSP and Jones are still young too....Anderson is getting old so he's really the one who wants to cash out on GSP since he'll have a size advantage and it'll make him the most money since GSP is the biggest draw in the sport.

That's because he manages his weight.

He's a big guy....quite obviously.

If Aldo can get a LW title shot for winning a title fight at FW then Anderson can fight the LHW guy at Andersonweight.

I always laugh at the irony of people calling a fighter "scared" more and more when that fighter becomes more and more successful.
