I agree! When Hughes lost the belt I pretty much said there went any chance for Serra to win it. I think Serra will win when they face, esp if Hughes tries to stand and go for the knock-out he has been craving.

Could Serra beat Hughes? Sure, he beat St. Pierre. Is it likely he'll beat Hughes? No. Hughes is still one of the top guys in the division, if not the sport. I don't think you're looking at the fight realistically.

Sure, we WANT Hughes to lose. But he's still a great fighter. He earned everyone's begrudging respect before and I'm certain he'll do the same again.

i agree with most on Hughes is attitude and moral in the sport....way to cocky by far.....thats why its nice to see guys like GSP come in and admit that their disappointed, but realize they gotta suck it up and come back with a better game plan.....i was also surprised with serra....besides thinking he would get put down...he himself is actually humble in winning.....most noted when saying after he had won the welter weight title....that he still believed GSP is the definate future of the sport....
my hope in the event that follow is what most want.....Serra to beat HUGHES.....GSP to come back and take the title within a year.

Yea but that won't happen. Hughes wins by GnP third or fourth round.
